Perfect Imperfections

Personally, I have always been a Perfectionist.

Everything I do, I must do Perfectly. Well-planned, well-thought, no mistakes…

Everything I say, must be said Perfectly – spelling, pronounciation, grammar…

Everything I THINK must be Perfect.

And because I’m such a Perfectionist, I expect those around me to be Perfect…

And it it were up to me, my Mr Right WILL be Mr Perfect…

(which is just impossible…)

And while I acknowledge that people aren’t Perfect (we are but humans) and I cut them some slack, I STILL try to be the Perfect daughter, the Perfect sister, the Perfect student, the Perfect “teacher”, the Perfect friend, the Perfect partner, the Perfect mother (in the future), the Perfect Person…I don’t always succeed…(sometimes I get lucky…)

Maybe it’s time I grew up and accept the fact that no one is Perfect…not even me…

…and that being imperfect is perfectly perfect…

How Perfect Imperfections was born:

Before I moved to WordPress, I had quite a number of blogs…

My Friendster Blog [marg.blogs.friendster.com] was my very 1st blog.

My Practical Blog [medeardiary.blogspot.com] was dedicated to blogging during my Internship.

My Blogspot Blog [topapple.blogspot.com] was my 2nd blog after I moved from my friendster blog.

In between my Internship and my 2nd blog, I even co-blogged for a while but that didn’t work out so well.

And finally…

I started blogging on WordPress on April 1st, 2007 (A New Blog, A New Beginning) but I hadn’t really decided on a name for it yet. It was first named The Perfect Life, then Life Doesn’t Come With Subtitles and very briefly The Blog.

It was only on July 29th, 2007, did I finally name it “Perfect Imperfections”.

Milestones:

One – Perfect Imperfections’ 1st Anniversary

Two -Perfect Imperfections’ 2nd Anniversary
